HCA Carmella's Sugar lives up to her name. Sugar is a little sweetheart, who especially likes those that have treats for her. She has a brown sugar butt and a real cute smile. At the Southwest Regional Alpaca Show in Phoenix, AZ Judge Amanda VandenBosch said she had fantastic comfirmation with a perfect bite. She has dense, fine fiber and should produce quality cria when bred to a sire with great lusterous fiber. In the level 5 show in Denver she took second place. Sugar was bred in July 2008 to Sundance at the Cabin. They gave us a beautiful Sunrae in June 2009. Sunrae has tight pencilling and very fine fiber with an extremely soft handle. In 2016 she produced 5.3 pounds of fiber.

2017 California Classic Roundup Spinoff - 1st Place at 8 years old! Judy Glaser awarded full points for spinning criteria and said the fiber "spun and drafted evenly, nice!" After the yarn was spun she awared six out of six points for first impression and seven out of seven for usability. At the 2014 SW Regional Alpaca Show, Judge Amanda awarded HCA Toffee 1st Place for her excellent fineness, soft handle and overall correctness in her body proportions. She also said that her regrowth has presented a nice length of lock for the growing period. HCA Toffee bred to HCA Sir William in 2016. Both are full of Lustrous locks! Toffee gave birth the HCA Abraham (Abe) on the afternoon of August 24, 2017. to a healthy very light fawn boy.

On a very stormy Durango afternoon, we welcomed "Stormy" at 14.9 pounds almost dry. The wind was howling, so Copper and her daughter took shelter in the barn for a few hours, before she met Zorro and Smokin' Cinder, her half brothers in the maternity ward. Stormy is a beautiful dark maroon brown with curly locks glowing in the dark barn. Judge Judy Glaser commented Rich Color! and soft handle on her report for this Judges Choice remarks at the 2017 California Classic Roundup. She also commented under Handle that it was a nice cool wonderful drape.
